| Tim Heelan, the founder of Stonepocket in 2002, has fifteen years of experience in the horticulture fields. The name Stonepocket originated from Tim’s days spent hiking in the Baraboo Hills while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A favorite place that Tim spent hiking was at the end of a farm road where a small boulder-filled brook began. In the spring the brook was filled with fawn lilies, marsh marigolds, and bloodroots and in the fall the asters and goldenrods bloomed in the moist meadows. The farm road that leads to this magical place is called Stonepocket. |

The company, based in Chanhassen, Minnesota was founded in 2002 with the belief that landscapes should be interactive places that Educate, Entertain, and provide places to Escape. STONEPOCKET specializes in designing and building outdoor living spaces customized to the aesthetic environment and personal needs of each client.
In order to meet our customer's level of expectation of quality and expertise, Stonepocket is operated by Certified Landscape Professionals by the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
and the University of Minnesota. Tim Heelan, the founder, has college degrees in
Botany, Chemistry and Landscape Horticulture, and attended numerous seminars and training sessions. |
